“ My bf and I came here Saturday night for dinner. I arrived at the restaurant around 6:15pm and there wasn't a wait which was super nice. I ordered the regular tonkotsu ramen and my bf did the tonkotsu lite. You can actually taste the difference between the two broth. Mine was actually noticeable much saltier and richer than the lite one. We both opted out of the thin noodles and changed it to the thick noodles cause we wanted to taste the chewiness of it. It's nice that they accommodate this change without charging us for it. The thick noodles were really good. It's a very cute date spot with high tops, bar seating, or regular seating. The egg was perfect in the ramen. It's interesting how they char the chasiu (pork) before serving which adds a little extra flavor/kick to it when you take a bite. If I ever come back here, I would get the tonkotsu lite with thick noodles. ”

“ Delicious, comforting, chic ramen place! Ramen is amazing, they have several options and different spice level to cover everyone's taste, pork belly is finished with torch and melts in your mouth. The kitchen is open and if sitting at the bar you have first row to admire the process. Staff is super friendly and nice. Loved coming here on a cold day to get our souls warmed up. ”

“ We went to Rudy's a few weeks ago with my toddler. They were very nice and accommodating. We had bao, ramen, and mochi. We actually made it for happy hour, so ended up trying a few bao for $4, which is a reasonable price for 1 bao. I wouldn't pay anymore for it. The chicken bao was tasty, but the mushroom bao was much too salty. We eat a lot of high quality ramen and thought Rudy's ramen broth was good, but not great. The quality of the toppings were great though. The mango mochi was excellent and was more memorable than the ramen for us. Rudy's is kind of a trek for us, so probably won't be making the trip again. ”

“ My husband and I love a good ramen. This wasn't good. This was great! Me being vegan, broths can be bland. This was FAR from bland. Flavorful, filling and makes you want more. My husband had the pork ramen and also mentioned how flavorful it was, commenting that he also will be back. The server was very thoughtful and brought us the octopus appetizer free of charge. If you like octopus, you'll enjoy these (we did not care for their smell). Highly recommend this restaurant for taste and service! ”

“ This ramen was impressive! The Tonkotsu lite is the way to go. The broth was not too salty at all, and I ended up drinking the whole thing. The egg was cooked to perfection. The noodles had just the right amount of chew. Meat was really good too - it had a nice sear. Prices were $19 and above, which is REALLY steep to me. Is that the norm around the city nowadays? We were seated quickly and service was fast. The interior is decorated nicely. I would say this is one of the top ramen places in Chicago. ”

“ Excellent ramen! The staff were very friendly and we were able to walk in on a weeknight and only had to wait about 20 minutes. I got the tonkotsu ramen and the broth was perfect. Not too salty and nice full flavor. Good portion size and very fresh noodles. Highly recommend ! ”

“ My partner and I were craving ramen and wanted to try a new spot so we made our way over on a Friday evening and surprisingly we were able to get a table right away despite it looking busy! The staff are welcoming and helpful! We did a shrimp and pork belly bao bun which wasn't bad. For ramen, I did the spicy miso which was delicious - it had a good spice to it but if you're a heat lover, I would add extra spicy miso paste. We also got the tantanmen which was also good. I enjoyed that there were a variety of ramen options to choose from. ”

“ THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM!! I've tried 10+ Ramen spots in Miami and NOTHING compares to this place! It's seriously worth the drive. I live about 20 minutes away from here and tried this place on complete accident one day after Kayaking in the river. I've been to Japan and had Ramen there and this place 100% is comparable. Walking by, I was a little skeptical because of the name "Rudy". I thought, what can a guy named Rudy know about authentic Ramen? But wowww, I was wrong. I have not med Rudy but he DEFINITELY knows about authentic Ramen. The staff is so sincere and kind. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms and tables and etc are super clean. And the Ramen is 10/10 amazing. We tried two different Ramen, Spicy Tonkotsu and the Tantanmen. Both were so unique and extremely well flavored. The noodles were perfect and all the toppings were tailored to exactly what we wanted. We also tried the Karaage chicken and it was delicious. If you're looking for Ramen, this place is it!! ”
